At Bubbles and Paint we encourage children to be creative through the
use of carefully planned holistic learning experiences. We aim to make
both children and their families feel valued and welcomed. Bubbles and
Paint is a place where the thrill of discovery is promoted in a safe,
positive and engaging way. It is also important to us that children of
all abilities are openly embraced.
We offer classes that focus in different areas such as:
- Sensory art for children from 18 months
- Art and science for children (4 – 8 years)
- Little Art Explorers (3 – 5 years)
- Focus on fine-motor development
- Parent and children classes
- Art and story
Not-So-Creepy Crawlies
One of our favourite sessions is back. This “Not so creepy crawlies” class is specifically adapted to the needs of our youngest artists. Exploring and learning about bugs as well as creating art and craft – all included in one fun session.
Watercolour Dougnut Session
In this session, children will learn how to create a fun watercolour doughnut picture. Using step by step instructions, even inexperienced artists will enjoy this fun session, getting a first insight in how to use watercolours.
Friday Morning Preschool Group
This group offers weekly changing, carefully selected and planned pre-school activities. Together we will paint, experiment, do handicrafts, read, play and much more. While all activities take into account the holistic development of the children it is my main concern to give children space and inspiration for creativity to bid. Bubbles & Paint is a place where children have the opportunity to express their ideas and let their imagination run wild.
Watercolour Gnome session
During this session we will be looking at one of my favourite art books for children, “The Dot” by Peter H. Reynolds. In this book the author focuses on perfectionism and insecurity and shows in a kind and humorous way that getting work started can be the hardest part in a creative endeavour.
Story and Art: The Dot
During this session we will be looking at one of my favourite art books for children, “The Dot” by Peter H. Reynolds. In this book the author focuses on perfectionism and insecurity and shows in a kind and humorous way that getting work started can be the hardest part in a creative endeavour.
Famous Artists: Frida Kahlo
In this workshop we will be exploring the fascinating life story of Frida Kahlo, one of Mexico’s greatest artists! Learn interesting facts about this talented painter, listen to Mexican music and most importantly, create a beautiful floral hairband inspired by Frida Kahlo’s famous flower crowns!
Open Art Sessions
In our open 1 hour art session, children are invited to complete an art and craft activity of their own choice. The children will be given a choice from a range of activity stations, where they will be free to choose in which activity they engage in. I will provide support to children if help is needed.
Parents are welcome to stay and participate with their children and just as welcome to relax and allow their little ones to create.
Little Art Explorers
Similar to our open art session we will be offering a variety of art activities to choose from. However the “Little Art Explorers” classes will be adapted to the needs of our younger artist. We will focus on sensory experiences and
process art while the children get the opportunity to let their creativity run wild. At this age group it is most important to support children’s creativity, as this will set the stage to foster its continued development in the years beyond.
Art Activity Sets
Due to the current health situation we‘ve decided to offer a new format to deliver our art sessions: “Art Activity Sets”. These sets will include all you need to provide your children with a fully thought through art session. Each set covers a specific topic for the children to learn about. Depending on the topic these might include a book to introduce the topic fact cards, sample art pieces, and all art and craft materials needed.
